Looking for some free Halloween printables for your kids to make this spooky season? Look no further as we have loads for you to download.

We love spooky season and I think that Halloween is the perfect time to do something creative with your kids, after all you need to do something while you wait for trick or treating to start!

From simple pumpkin outlines to a 3D haunted house craft there’s ideas for kids of all ages in here and as each of these printables is totally free it’s a great way to keep them entertained without spending a fortune, all you need to do is grab the glue, scissors and coloring pencils.

Free Halloween Printables

My kids adore Halloween but between costumes, candy and decor October can pretty quickly become a really expensive time of year.

To try and even things out a bit I love being able to share some free printables with you so that you can have some creative fun with your kids without breaking the bank.

They’re great for using at home but they’re also ideal for using in preschools and classrooms too, just pick the ones you like and print as many copies as you like.

Because there’s quite a lot of printables here I’ve split them into two different categories.

The first is Halloween templates where you’ll find simple outlines that are great for art and craft projects or using as free Halloween coloring pages. With each template you’ll always find some ideas for how you can use them.

The second section is Halloween craft templates and this is where you’ll find our printables for specific crafts like our ghost bunting, 3D haunted house and cut and paste crafts.

Halloween Templates

Bat Template

This basic outline is one of my favorites as it’s great for trying out some easy bat crafts.

In the post you’ll find details about our bat silhouette and mosaic crafts as well as loads more easy ideas that you can try out.

Frankenstein Template

With four different designs you could create your own Frankenstein masks or decorate these to display at home or in a your classroom.

Monster Template

This fun printable has two different designs that you can download. A basic monster outline that’s perfect for art and craft projects and one with more details that makes a great coloring sheet.

Witch Template

This sweet witch flying on her broomstick is great for coloring or how about making a crescent moon from a paper plate to stick your witch template on to?

Skull Template

This template is perfect for the Day of the Dead (dia de los muertos) crafts as well as Halloween activities.

Halloween Cat Template

I love this cute Halloween cat template with the little star on it’s collar. Perfect for keeping any witches company this spooky season.

Cauldron Template

I think that this template is great for practicing writing as well as for Halloween crafts, you could write words in it that make you think of witch’s potions. There are two designs and we’ve also used this printable for a really fun witch’s cauldron craft.

Haunted House Template

Our haunted house template is great for encouraging creativity as you can add all sorts of spooky creatures inside and outside your house.

Spider Template

This free printable spider template has five different pages to download so whatever project you have in mind you’re sure to find one that’s perfect for your idea.

Ghost Template

While this ghost template might look a bit basic it’s absolutely perfect for making easy Halloween crafts and we’ve used it for loads of fun activities like paper plate crafts and resist art.

You could also use this as a template to make a cotton ball ghost.

Moon Template

This crescent moon template is perfect for helping little ones to get into the Halloween spirit, how about adding some stickers to it and having bats, monsters or witches flying past!

Pumpkin Template

Of course you can’t have Halloween without some pumpkins and our free printable templates mean that you’re ready to make some easy crafts with your kids.

This is a great one to save as in addition to Halloween crafts you can also use this one for Thanksgiving or even a farm topic, it’s super versatile.

Build a Monster Printable Craft

With 22 pages to download this cut and paste monster PDF file has to be one of our largest!

As well as loads of monster body shapes you’ll also find pages of eyes, mouths, noses, wings and loads more for you to color, cut out and decorate your monster with.

Halloween Bunting

This cute ghost bunting is great for practicing using scissors and it also makes great Halloween party decorations.

As you can print as many copies of this as you like you can also make your bunting as long as you want, great if you want to use this to spook up a classroom or preschool.

Make a Monster Template

This printable monster craft is colored in and is great for younger kids. You can use it as a cut and paste activity or use one of the colorful monster bodies as a playdoh mat for you to design your own creatures.

3D Haunted House Template

This 3D craft is one of our newest and I’m not ashamed to say that I absolutely love it! It has two different designs so you can color in your house yourself or opt for our ready colored design.

This haunted house makes fantastic Halloween decor too as you can put an LED light inside the finished craft and it will light up like a little lantern.
