Printable Halloween Bunting
I love using bunting to decorate, it’s a quick and effective way to brighten up your home or classroom and this cut and paste design means that kids can be involved in creating your Halloween decor.
You can use it for Halloween parties or as an activity to keep your kids busy and having fun in the build up to Halloween, plus unlike some Halloween decor from stores this is also really cheap to make.
Of course you don’t have to use this template to make a Halloween garland, if you just want to make some cut and paste ghost crafts to practice scissor skills then that’s great too.

Make Your Own Ghost Bunting
To make your ghost bunting start by printing out your templates onto white paper or cardstock.
Cardstock means that your bunting will be a bit more durable and the weight will help it to hang better but if you only have printer paper available then go for that, your ghosts will just be a bit more liable to move around if there’s a breeze – eek!
Cut out your ghost outlines using scissors. You can either draw on a face for your ghost yourself using coloring materials or you can use the ghost’s eyes and mouths on the second page of the printable.
There’s a good selection of both cute and scary ghost faces to cut and paste so kids can choose their favorite.
Once you’ve cut your ghost’s features out stick these onto your ghost’s body using glue.
Fold the tab at the top of the ghost’s head, place your string or twine underneath and secure it into place. You can use glue for this but personally I find that normal tape or double sided tape is better as it will stick the bunting tab closed straight away and it will be ready to hang up without waiting for it to dry.
