Candy Corn Template
Candy corn is an iconic food for fall and Halloween especially when it comes to trick or treating.
I’m a great believer in encouraging kids creativity through using things that they’re already naturally interested in so candy corn is a great option for this!
This free candy corn craft template is perfect for Halloween as it’s a shape that so many people recognise and the large spaces mean that you have plenty of room to try out some craft ideas.
The simple outline means that it’s ideal for crafts with younger children especially preschoolers and kids in kindergarten but that doesn’t mean that it won’t appeal to older kids too.
This would be a great printable to have at the ready for a Halloween party or if you’re in a preschool or classroom getting your kids to decorate these would be a fun way to build up a display for a themed bulletin board.

Candy Corn Craft Ideas
Coloring
This makes a great candy corn coloring page and it’s ideal for younger kids and toddlers due to the large areas to color. All you need to do is print out the PDF and grab your favorite crayons, markers or coloring pencils.
Scrunched Tissue Paper
Cover your template with glue and then place scrunched tissue paper balls on it to color in like we have in this candy corn craft.
Make a Monster
Why not get fully into the Halloween vibe and turn your candy corn printable into a monster? Add some arms and legs, teeth and eyes and anything else you think your monster might have, horns? Spots?
Print with Cork
Grab an old bottle cork and use it to print on your picture of candy corn. Just pour a little yellow and orange paint onto a plate and then dab your cork onto it before dabbing it onto your template to color it in.
Torn Paper
Print your template out on to colored paper (making sure you can still see the candy corn outline) and then tear up yellow, white and orange paper or construction paper and glue it onto the correct section of the picture.
