Our turkey cut out craft is a great way for you to spend some time together having fun and you can also use it as a gratitude craft to reflect on who and what you are thankful for.

You’ll find the simple step by step instructions for this paper turkey craft below but you’ll also find them written on the craft template.

Materials For Your Turkey Cut Out

  • Turkey craft template PDF
  • White paper or cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Coloring materials – markers, crayons or coloring pencils

How To Make Your Printable Turkey Craft

Print your turkey craft template onto white cardstock or paper. Cardstock can be a little harder to cut but it will make your finished craft a little more durable so it’s up to you which one you prefer.

Next grab your coloring materials and color in your turkey. Go for browns, yellows, reds and orange and don’t forget to color in the beak and cheeks on your turkey’s face as well as your turkey’s feathers.

Carefully cut out all of the different parts of your turkey.

Using school glue or a glue stick you can now glue the feathers onto your own turkey. Do this onto the back of the turkey’s body in a fan formation.

If you like you could also use these as decorations for your Thanksgiving dinner and write people’s names on them to use them as place markers or you could turn this into a thankfulness craft by writing someone or something on each feather that you are thankful for.
