Weather Crafts and Activities
Weather crafts and activities are a great hands on way for children to learn about the world around them and the different weather patterns.
This is a post I originally wrote a while ago but over the years it’s grown and grown. Why? Well because we keep doing more weather crafts over the years because we enjoy them so much and there’s always something relevant that we can make!
This post contains a real range of things that you can do with your child, so it’s worth pinning it or bookmarking it for later, like us I’m sure that the weather is a topic you’ll want to return to again and again.
There’s also a big range of activities with weather art, craft templates, paper plate crafts, sensory play and even a weather mobile you can make.
I’ve also shared some fantastic looking children’s books about weather for those of you looking to expand your kids libraries and knowledge which I hope you like too.

Children’s Books About Weather
Weather is a great subject for kids to learn about and it’s one that you can return to again and again across the year as the seasons change.
My kids love reading about the world they live in and younger kids can enjoy looking at the pictures of different weather while you share the book with them.
These children’s books about weather all look like great additions to any library, which would your child enjoy the most?

My little ones really love doing arts and crafts. The windsock sounds like a great idea it’s been quite windy recently.
Ha – yes would be a good one to try this week!
Gosh, aren’t they beautiful? I’m really loving the cloud with the rainbow strands hanging down, just brilliant. Mich x
It’s super pretty isn’t it!
