The Perfect Two Ingredient Cloud Dough for Small World Play

Updated on 11th August 2021 by Kate Williams | 1 Comment

We’ve been making cloud dough for a couple of years now, and I realised the other day that while I’ve shared how to make scented cloud dough and celebration cloud dough I’ve never actually blogged our two ingredient cloud dough recipe!

This cloud dough is so simple to make that it’s a total lifesaver for cold days when the kids need something to do and it’s perfect as it’s pretty much impossible to get wrong! It’s fabulous for small world play as you can use it to create fun snowy activities, whether it’s just with your kids favourite toys or with polar bears and seals while you learn about the arctic.

Last week I shared some seasonal paper plate crafts for every month and that was so popular that I thought I’d do it again this time sharing with you my favourite contact paper crafts, both that we’ve made and from some of my favourite bloggers.

Ocean Themed Sensory Bin

Updated on 11th July 2025 by Kate Williams | 2 Comments

My daughter loves sensory play and this simple Ocean themed sensory bin was a great way to keep her entertained.

This sensory play idea is easy to set up and, very importantly, only takes a minute to clean up afterwards too, always helpful with activities for toddlers!

I also used a tip from a reader to colour the rice which I’ll share with you below.
