Shamrock Craft Ideas
Foil Painting
You could use this shamrock template to make our foil painted shamrock craft. This is a great activity for younger kids such as toddlers and preschoolers as you can shape the foil to be the right size for their hands.
Coloring
There’s nothing wrong with just grabbing some coloring pencils, crayons or markers, especially with younger children and this PDF works brilliantly as shamrock coloring pages.
You can obviously make green shamrocks but if your child wants to grab some other colors too I don’t think it matters, after all if you can talk about it then it all helps with color recognition – right?!
Stickers
Use colored stickers for a St Patrick’s Day activity that would be great for supporting fine motor skills too.
Stamping
Make big coloured dots on your shamrock using bingo daubers.
This is a fun way to decorate for kids of all ages as the daubers are normally quite big so they’re good for little hands.
Make Decorations
If you’ve decorated your shamrock make sure you put it up to display your craft projects!
These would look great on a bulletin board in a classroom or you could cut the shamrocks out and use them to make a little banner or shamrock garland by using tape and yarn or bakers twine to hold them together.
