Scarecrow Crafts
We’re lucky to live near some farms and quite a few allotments and whenever we’ve spotted a scarecrow there’s always a sense of excitement for my kids.
I’m not sure quite what it is that makes them so captivating for children but I really believe that if kids are interested in something then it’s much easier to turn it into a fun project for them and it’s easier for you as a parent to get them involved.
This post originally started as a short list of scarecrow crafts for preschoolers but over time I’ve found so many cool craft ideas on the internet that I had to include them. Basically I’ve read all of the internet so you don’t have too!
I’ve also updated this post to include ideas for children in kindergarten and older children too. This is because there’s such a range of abilities and interests during kid’s early years that I thought the best person to decide what is right for your child is probably you, after all kids develop at such different rates.
