Under The Sea Paper Plate Craft

Updated on 7th May 2026 by Kate Williams | Leave a Comment

A quick little post from me today as I was just looking through some old photos and found this sweet under the sea paper plate craft that my daughter made – how could I forget to share this?!

We love all ocean crafts (you can see all our sea crafts for kids here) and this was inspired by a sea collage we’d seen out on a walk that week –  while it’s super simple it’s also super cute too.

As is often the case here it’s made with things that we already had around the house, no news there as I very rarely get any advance warning from the kids!

Easy Ocean Activities for Kids with Trunkaroo

Updated on 7th December 2019 by Kate Williams | 2 Comments

Advert. Being a crafts blogger it’s no big shock that we do quite a lot of crafting at home and I’m always trying to think of new stuff we can do. The flip side of that though is that I’m not always prepared for my kids to want to get creative, we don’t have loads of craft shops locally that we can buy supplies from and actually if I’m honest then when I’m feeling a bit knackered I’m not as bursting with ideas as I could be. For that reason I’m really excited to be working with Trunkaroo today to share about our experience of their monthly subscription service for kids. Trunkaroo’s boxes are focused on STEAM activities – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths and knowing our interest in all things sea based they sent us their Ocean Tales box which contains loads of easy ocean activities for kids, but how would we get on?

Updated on 14th June 2017 by Kate Williams | Leave a Comment

Last week I shared a cute sea shell whale craft and this week it’s time to share one of the other creations from my sea shell haul – this super cute sea shell lion! I know that lions are perhaps the first thing you think of when thinking about sea shell crafts but once I got the idea for this in my head I knew we had to make it!

Sea Shell Whale

26th April 2017 by Kate Williams | Leave a Comment

Last week I went to Padstow, I had a plan that I was going to hit the clothes shops but instead the only thing I bought was some large shells from a seafood stall, they were so cheap I couldn’t resist! Whether you buy your shells from a stall or pick them up at a trip to the beach seashell crafts for kids are a really fun way to make something a little different and this sweet sea shell whale is a fun sea craft for kids that’s easy to make as well as looking cool.

Paper Plate Walrus Craft for Kids

Updated on 21st January 2022 by Kate Williams | Leave a Comment

After making our snowy owl crafts last week we decided to continue with our arctic animal crafts and make try making a walrus craft for kids.

I was a bit worried if my children would know what a walrus is but then I remembered that there’s one on Paw Patrol so that was that problem quickly sorted!

This craft is really easy to make so it’s a good walrus craft for preschool too and I’ve included both what what my just turned three year old daughter made as well as my son who is nearly six and me who is nearly…well I’m significantly older than them!

This is also a really good craft if you want to teach your kids about how to make colours.
