What with living near the seaside ourselves it’s hard not to be inspired and we love sharing fun sea crafts for kids! The crafts I’m sharing today are all perfect for preschoolers so are great whether you’re homeschooling, working in a preschool or just after having a bit of sea themed fun with your little one!

3 Fun Activities with Stones at the Beach
A couple of weeks ago we went on holiday to Lowestoft, the kids had a great time but oh my days did it rain! On the one afternoon the weather cheered up we decided to get ourselves immediately down to the beach. Buckets and spades were packed and down we went, met there of course by the tide being in and humongous waves. Oops! There was however about a meter and a half of sand to sit on, so we parked ourselves there and I quickly had to come up with some things that my kids could play. Thankfully sea crafts for kids have become a bit of a speciality here so I was able to quickly come up with these fun activities with stones keeping them busy and happy and saving our little trip down to the waters edge!
Ocean Themed Toddler Art
Lately I’ve been wondering what to do in the mornings with my one year old while her brother is at playgroup. She’s dropped her nap and suddenly I’m back in the stage where I’m in desperate need of some activities for toddlers! I can’t sit around the whole time playing with toys so I thought it would be fun to do some kind of craft. Obviously at one it’s all about the experience rather than the finished product but I wanted it to look like ‘something’ if you know what I mean! Sea crafts for kids are perfect for stuff like this as there is no right place to put things and everything is the right way up underwater. This ocean themed toddler art kept her entertained for ages and it kept me busy too!
Seashell Crafts for Kids
We’re just back from being on holiday which always means one thing for us – the kids can be pretty much guaranteed to bring home a crazy amount of seashells with them! Living near the beach anyway we’re no stranger to making a lot of sea crafts for kids, but I thought it would be fun to round up some seashell crafts for kids to help give us a bit of inspiration for our haul! Which is your favourite?!
Beach Activities for Kids: Stone Faces
This weekend we had a brilliant day out at a beach hut on Mersea Island. It was so chilled out, nothing to do but chill in a deck chair while the kids played with buckets and spades and hunted for crabs. We love sea crafts for kids and as we had all day to laze around I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to try out some fun beach activities for kids from the book!
