Recently we’ve been busy both in our garden and inside the house getting everything ready for summer. Outside it’s been mainly neatening up our work from last year but indoors we’ve been starting up some easy plants to grow with the kids. We’ve used plug plants before but after my son had started growing seeds at school he really wanted to try this at home too and over the years we’ve tried a few different things. If your kids are the same and you want to get some results (because there’s no one as results driven as kids) then these are the easy plants that kids can grow from seed that we’re either already giving a go or hoping to try this year. I hope it inspires you too!…

With it being bank holiday weekend I was really looking forward to getting outdoors with the kids. But the weather report? Ugh. Typical British bank holiday. With my youngest a bit poorly I didn’t want to risk her getting worse so I needed to plan something fun for indoors, I didn’t want the weather to ruin our plans for green fingered fun though so between me and my son we came up with this plan to make some plant pots out of toys, don’t they look fun?! We were inspired after looking though Crops In Pots that I picked up last week in Waterstones and so not only are these planters fun, but they’re also a cool little way to get your kids involved in growing crops too!
17 Enchanting Mini Planters
This week has seemed a bit manic with one thing and the other, the youngest is still not napping *weeps* the eldest seems to have a million appointments about starting school and the housework fairy has failed to turn up. Again. Some relief this week has come though in the form of hunting out these gorgeous mini planters for you. I think there’s nothing like a bit of nature in your home and garden to perk-up your mood and these beauties certainly all do the job.
