I love this simple Christmas lights craft, depending on what you have around the house you could use Duplo or Lego but Duplo is great for little hands to hold and the ‘lights’ in it are a good size too. I did this fine motor skills Christmas tree craft with my daughter a few weeks ago but totally forgot to write it up until today – oops! It’s a really nice craft because it’s easy to set up and you can use it in a few different ways – the Christmas trees could go on the front of Christmas cards or you could make a few and string them together to make a garland.

Many years ago I shared a bubble wrap snowman that I made with my son, it’s remained really popular over the years because it’s such a simple and fun activity for the kids. Yesterday while doing some painting with my daughter I thought of how we could change the craft slightly to make a different bubble wrap snowman craft so this is our new version. I love that even with the same theme the two crafts are really quite different although what they both have in common is that we had fun making them.

This weekend we had a bit of a mad craft project overload making four new crafts, it’s been a while since we’ve done it so I really enjoyed it, well apart from the bit when my youngest got in a mood and decided to try and eat all the craft supplies but hey ho that’s parenting for you. My son did a lot of arctic animals crafts for kids at school last winter and we thought it would be good to try and create a few of our own, the first of which is this cute snowy owl craft for kids. I had an idea of how it should be but my kids unsurprisingly had their own ideas which I think probably worked even better!
