If you have young kids around then it’s always good to have some fun activities for preschoolers to hand! Having a preschooler around is a lot of fun, it’s a time in kids lives when they’re really inquisitive and love learning about things as well as playing. This is a snowman paper plate craft with a difference – it moves and dances around! This fun snowman puppet craft is easy to make and it looks super cute too. It’s the sister craft to the movable penguin paper plate craft I shared a couple of weeks ago and it would be great fun to mix them up too for a fun little winter puppet show.

You might not want to keep the kids up late for New Year but these New Years Eve activities for toddlers are loads of fun and a great way for them to get excited about the special day during the day time. I must admit that I originally planned these scrunched paper star craft as a New Years Eve activity but my daughter loved making them so much that we’ll probably use them for other times of the year too – after all stars are good for studying space, Fourth of July and of course Christmas too – you could just pop a bit of string through these and they’d be a great kid-made ornament. I’ve also included a free star template for you as it turns out drawing stars freehand was a lot trickier than I expected!

I promised myself I wasn’t going to share any more Christmas crafts this year but this Santa puppet craft is so cute it seemed a shame not to publish it. You might have to excuse the rather brief explanation though as I am supposed to be making breakfast – oops!
