This cute wooden clothes pin ant crafts was a bit of a joint project by my son and I after we saw these sweet clothes pin butterflies on I Heart Crafty Things. Ours are slightly less colourful though and more influenced by our bug hunts on the way home from school. They’re still fun to make though and great to play with afterwards!
Crafts for kids
Frozen Paints
As we’re moving house soon I’m trying to have a clear out of my craft supplies which, to put it nicely, are rather overstocked. We love activities for toddlers so these frozen paints are super simple to make and both my toddler and older son enjoyed making them and painting with them too.
Animal Drawing Prompts for Kids
My children both love to draw so I thought it might be fun to design some cute animal drawing prompts for kids. There are two designs, one of a giraffe and one of some puppies – I think I might be a bit in love with that pug?! I’ve added prompts to each picture either for older kids to read themselves or for you to read to your kids, can they add some food for the animals? How about some sun for the giraffe or an owner for the dogs?
Marvellous Minibeast Crafts
My kids love hunting for minibeasts when we’re out and about and they love making minibeast crafts too! Today I’m sharing some fun things that we’ve made as well as some fantastic minibeast activities from some of my favourite bloggers. With ladybirds, butterflies, spiders and bees, what’s not to love about these cute ideas?!
Sensory Play Ideas With Flowers
Recently we’ve been sharing a lot of sensory play ideas with flowers so I thought I’d round them all up as well as adding some great ideas from some of my favourite bloggers. Kids love playing with flowers, I think after being told that they can’t grab hold of everything in the garden or park getting permission to play with and explore them is really enjoyable. It’s a great way to celebrate the warmer weather too, plus, lets be honest, they all look kinda pretty and there’s nothing wrong with enjoying that either!
