Every year I like to do a bit of Christmas crafting and one thing that appears to have become a bit of a tradition is that I always write a little tutorial on here on how to make a Christmas Wreath. They’ve changed from the natural Christmas wreath I made while slightly intoxicated at the Church Christmas do (oops!) to the super quick Christmas wreath I made last year and now I’m sharing a quick tutorial for an embroidery hoop wreath I made yesterday. I think this is my favourite so far!
Crafts for grown ups
I’m a bit obsessed with making felt finger puppets and my latest one is no exception, this cute owl! I think that using a sewing machine can be a bit overwhelming to a lot of people, but this project only requires hand sewing and within a short time you can make this cute owl that would be a lovely toy for your kids or make a great gift for someone else!
With Christmas fast approaching and lots of us starting to think about Christmas crafts I thought I’d share these easy homemade advent calendar ideas, perfect for those of us who like to make things for the festive season!
I love to sew but I’m always a bit scared about giving handmade gifts. What if my friends or family don’t think they’re up to scratch? Thankfully I have two people in my life that have always loved the things that I’ve made for them and that’s my kids.
As a mum I also get a lot of pleasure in seeing my kids play with or wear stuff I’ve made for them and with that in mind I asked some of my fellow bloggers to share gifts to sew for kids that they’ve made and that have received a lot of love back! I hope it will inspire you to sew something as a present too!
Just a quick post for me today but I was so pleased with this quick make of mine I had to share it! This project involved my current favourite thing to craft with (pumpkins) and my long term love (washi tape) so decorating pumpkins with washi tape seemed like the most sensible idea in the world to me!
