Last week we were asked if we would like to review something from House of Fraser’s fab range of outdoor toys. We love sharing sensory play ideas for kids and activities for toddlers so I knew instantly that I wanted to try them out with a water table. They had a great time when it was first opened playing with the boats in the moat and generally getting wet and having a good time! The next day I decided that I wanted to try something a little different out so, with some help from my son I set up this simple Spring flower sensory soup for them to play with.

Easy Easter Sensory Bin for Toddlers
Up until now I’ve avoided making a sensory bin for my children at all. I love looking at ideas for activities for toddlers and sensory play but sometimes I can feel a bit overwhelmed by it and like I have to produce something amazing otherwise my kids won’t like it. Sometimes though the simple ideas can be the best. During a playdate the other week my four year old son and his friend were busy being four year olds and as such, my one year old daughter and her two year old friend needed occupying. I put together this simple Easter sensory bin for toddlers in about two minutes and they loved it!
Batman Science: Escape from Ice Mountain!
Today is one of those few rare days when I feel like a mum who has Got It All Sorted. Well, except for the cleaning, obviously. Why? Well, because today I’ve been doing some Batman science with my boy and he loved it. Not just that though, this Batman activity helped with his letter and word recognition. Cool huh? He doesn’t know or care about that though, all he knows is that he had loads of fun!

New Year’s Glitter Cloud Dough
This glitter cloud dough is lots of fun to make and play with. Adding as much sparkly stuff as you can makes for a fun New Years Eve activity for kids and helps them to get involved in celebrating the new year too!
Chocolate Playdough
This chocolate playdough is super quick and easy to make. The scent is absolutely gorgeous and it’s a good, cheap sensory activity that can keep your kids occupied for ages! If it’s cold outside you’re also more than welcome to pass this off as hot chocolate playdough, letting your kids play with it and a couple of mugs!
