I love Halloween but I have to admit that carving a pumpkin is not my favourite activity. My son loves it and loves putting the pumpkin outside but me? Well I’m the one with bits of pumpkin goo stuck down their fingernails. Of course you can still carve a pumpkin and do some no carve pumpkins too, the brillianceofthese is that you could so them a few days before Halloween and have them decorating your house and getting you all in the mood for the big day. After all if I’m making a minion pumpkin I want to look at it for more than just one night and I know my kids would too! I don’t want to give myself nightmares so these are all no carve pumpkin ideas that kids will love – which are you going to try this year?

Super Cute Pumpkin Crafts
Do you love Halloween? I do, but to be honest I’m not keen on the super scary stuff, apart from anything else, with two small people in tow I don’t want to deal with any nightmares! I do like the excuse for dressing up and having fun though and I see no reason why Halloween can’t be a fun and friendly celebration too! These cute pumpkin crafts should all help make your Halloween a bit sweeter, and if you’re looking for something even more child friendly or suitable for Thanksgiving or Harvest Festival celebrations there are a few with ‘scary’ faces where you could always leave the faces off? (I think they’re pretty sweet though?! What do you think?)
Cute Ghost Footprint Keepsake
So I told myself I wsn’t going to blog any Halloween crafts yet but when I told my son about my idea for this cute ghost footprint keepsake he wanted to make it right that very minute, so I figured hey, if it’s not too early for him it’s not too early for here either? I have to admit that I rather love Halloween crafts, as I kid I never celebrated Halloween but now I have kids of my own? Love it. It’s an excuse for dressing up, sweets and fun craft ideas and that’s good enough for me!
Paper Plate Bats
Every time I think that’s it for Halloween crafting this year something else comes up that we want to make! I suppose I shouldn’t be that surprised that with a Batman obsessed toddler that a request for paper plate bats happened (‘lets make bats mummy!’ ‘Err… yep I think I can work that one out!’) These were so much fun to do, we did them sat next to each other, both working on the task and we were both really happy with how they turned out.
