Salt Dough Fingerprint Keyrings

18th May 2017 by Kate Williams | Leave a Comment

Last weekend we decided to make some keepsakes as Fathers Day gifts – we came across one little problem though – my kids decided that they liked these salt dough finger print keyrings a little too much and they wanted to keep them for themselves – oops! If your kids can bare to part with them then these make lovely gift for people and if not? So, given a bit of a prod from Truprint I thought I’d come up with something a bit more personal and make a special Father’s Day photo for him from the kids. I waited until we had a (slightly more photogenic than my home) day out at Mersea Island with the kids and with the stealth skills of a ninja with an iPhone, sent him off to get chips while I got the kids to pose.

Updated on 17th November 2023 by Kate Williams | 12 Comments

I originally shared this mug tutorial over on Red Ted Art earlier this year, but as it’s been so successful in our family and it’s so hard to think of  gifts for men I thought I’d share this cute Father’s Day mug that my son made over here too!
