I discovered today at my son’s playgroup that they’re doing Christmas crafts, which as far as I’m concerned totally gives me the green light to get stuck into Christmas crafts at home, woo-hoo! After a busy day we needed an activity that was fun but could be done by a slightly knackered preschooler. This bubble wrap snowman fitted the bill perfectly and helped increase the excitement levels about winter arriving shortly!

Amazing Engineering Activities for Kids
As a mum I make a lot of stuff with my kids, but I do wonder sometimes if I lean too much towards the arts and crafts side of things, heck, I even had to quickly google to see if there’s a difference between engineering and construction for this post. (Don’t tell my Civil Engineer dad!) I love these engineering activities for kids though which I’m hoping will inspire me to do a few more engineering activities at home too!
Ocean Sensory Play
Last week in Tuesday Tutorials MulticraftingMummy linked up a really cool post called ‘We’re going on a P hunt‘ where she used water beads. I’ve never used then before so thought it might be fun to try out ourselves. Being water beads an ocean sensory play tub seemed the best idea for an easy introduction to using them!
