Expensive gifts are all very nice but round our house we’re great believers that the best presents are ones that come from the heart and as most kids don’t exactly have a ton of cash to spend handmade cards and gifts are some of the nicest things that you could hope to receive for Fathers Day. Today I’m sharing this simple Fathers Day card that your kids can colour in and draw a picture of their dad in. I’ve also done a version for step-dads as my parents are divorced and over the years I’ve found it really hard to find cards for step-parents who do an outstanding job too!

Of course your child doesn’t have to draw a picture if they don’t fancy it, if you have a baby you could print off a photo and pop that into the frame instead? Although I’m sure most parents would be more than pleased with any kind of squiggle if it’s been drawn by their child! If your kid would like to show off their awesome artistic skills make sure you have plenty of pens ready for them, my favourites are these as my children have drawn on their clothes, hands, faces, the dining chairs and so far I’ve managed to get the pen successfully off everything without too much bother. I’ve also just found these ones which have eight different skin colours so would be good if you’re doing this with a group.
Like this card but you’re not near a printer right now? Make sure that you bookmark this page or pin an image so that you can return to it later and print it out!
