This week on the Crafts on Sea Facebook page I started 6 Stories for Summer, kicking off with Miffy at the Seaside. Each week I’m sharing a great kids story, with a craft or activity related to it being shared each week day. At the end of the week you get a lovely round up over here in case you missed any of them or you want to pin it for later – cool huh? I’ve added a few more of my favourite crafts and activities that are Miffy or seaside related too plus some fun sea crafts for kids as they were too good to leave out. So here we go with Miffy at the Seaside!
This week on my Facebook page I’ve been sharing crafts and activities linked to the story Miffy at the Seaside as part of my 6 Stories For Summer series. We love sea crafts for kids and I’ve been so inspired by the great ideas out there that I thought it would be nice for me and The Toddler to try our hand at a new craft of our own and so we made this seaside sensory bottle.
As soon as I managed to get his sister to rest I got our supplies ready.
I love doing flower crafts for kids as it gives me the chance to do something I enjoy making too! Today I’m sharing some of my favourites from the Kid Bloggers Network as well as telling you how you can win one of three $500 cash prizes! Pretty cool huh?!

I originally shared this mug tutorial over on Red Ted Art earlier this year, but as it’s been so successful in our family and it’s so hard to think of gifts for men I thought I’d share this cute Father’s Day mug that my son made over here too!
During some midweek baking last week to avoid the rain my son dropped a few of the paper cases on the floor. When I went to pick them I realised how much they look like little flowers and boom! Cake case flowers it was. A nice little kids craft project to do while our cakes were cooking!
