My daughter loves playing with sensory bins and I enjoy her playing with them – they can keep her occupied for hours! I’m happy to admit that I can spend ages eyeing up gorgeous sensory bin ideas for toddlers on Pinterest but there’s one, ok two small issues with this. Firstly, I just don’t have the time to spend ages making intricate small world sensory bins because I have two small kids (and the aforementioned Pinterest addiction) and secondly, well, my toddler seriously couldn’t care less how long I’ve spend prepping something. She just wants to play and if it doesn’t take me half an hour to clean up then hey that’s much better for me. Olympics Activity Ideas: Fine Motor Skills Fun

It’s not long now until the Olympics starts in Rio so I’ve been thinking up some fun Olympics activity ideas for my kids. I originally planned this for my daughter who is at preschool but my son (5) had a day off school and when he saw this he really wanted to get involved too! A Cute and Cheap Butterfly Craft for Preschoolers

This preschool butterfly craft is perfect for little ones and allows them to create something really pretty themselves without too much adult intervention – as a mum I love to see what my child has made in preschool but I can normally tell straight away if someone else has done something for her!

I really love to see crafts for toddlers that they have led on themselves. That said I also love to be able to put her art up on the wall…but I still want it to look nice!

This cute craft ticks both boxes and if you’re doing this with older kids (my daughter is two) then I’ll be sharing a few ideas on how you can change this up to suit them too.

My daughter has been making a lot of sea crafts for kids at her nursey the last few weeks and she absolutely loves it! Seahorses seem to be her favourite (aren’t they everyones favourite?!)
