I really wanted to share some easy Christmas cards for kids to make and I’m really excited to be starting it off with this cute Christmas pudding card. Over the last week I’ve been sat down with my daughter brainstorming some ideas (ok, I came up with a load and then she added an absolute ton of cute ideas to my notebook) and we’re currently in a bit of a discussion about who’s idea this card was but either way it’s really sweet and easy to make too….
Last week when we were making our driftwood Christmas cards we all got a bit excited about making cards ourselves and so we created these drinking straw Christmas cards too. They’re super simple but there’s also a little bit of learning and fine motor skills involved too which makes it into a great Christmas activity for kids.
A couple of weeks ago my lovely friend Jen asked me if I’d like to be involved in her kid made Christmas card series and of course I said yes and then I remembered two teeny tiny issues. We didn’t have any cards or craft materials. I did panic for a bit but actually this is real life in which sometimes you kids decide that they want to make things and you have to improvise a bit, even though I have a lot of crafting stuff my house is not Hobbycraft and, like most parents, I have to make the most with what we have. This driftwood Christmas tree card came about after a walk that I shared some pictures of on Instagram, filling my pockets with some freebie craft materials.
