Paper Bird House Craft Ideas
Design Your Own Bird House
This is the most simple idea but it’s also the most easy to set up and it’s a great way to encourage your child to be creative too.
You can simply grab your markers, coloring pencils and crayons and use this as a bird house coloring sheet or get a bit more creative and add your own design to make your own bird house.
Why not try a nature them with flowers and leaves or make it into a little home with curtains and roof tiles!
Collage
Collages are a great way to get through those craft materials that you have in the bottom of your craft box or drawer that just aren’t getting used or you can always have a look through your recycling box for materials!
Scrap paper is always good for a collage or you can try adding dried pasta, paper straws, stickers, fabric and natural materials like leaves.
Torn Paper
Another craft idea that’s a great way to use up old scrap paper, you could make a ‘wooden’ bird house with pieces of torn up brown wrapping paper stuck onto the template or add brighter colors for a more colorful design.
Add Some Birds
Of course the one thing that this bird house is some birds!
Why not add some to your picture? You could draw them in yourself or create your bird’s body using potato printing or a cupcake liner and then use a marker to add eyes, legs and a beak.
