More Template for Kids Crafts
I’ve shared quite a few templates for kids crafts because they’re so popular as a quick way to set up an activity for your children.
We’ve got ideas to get you all through the year but these ones are my favourites for the warmer months of the year when you’re more likely to be thinking about butterflies.
I always share some ideas for how you could use them too because as a parent myself I know that there’s days when I haven’t had enough sleep and I’m a bit low on ideas myself.
Butterfly Craft Ideas
Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some ideas with you for crafts you can make with your child using this template but I wanted to share a few ideas with you to get you started in the meantime.
You could of course also use it with our butterfly suncatcher craft that I’ve shared below just make sure that you leave a wide margin around the edges rather than trying to keep too closely with the line on the printable.
Colour it nothing wrong with grabbing the paints for an easy activity or the felt tips for something more mess free.
Nature Craft I used this template with my daughter to make this simple butterfly nature craft and we’ve also also changed it fr the different seasons with this fall leaf craft.
Mosaics grab torn or cut paper and use it to fill in the butterflies wings. You could also use stickers if you have something like a pack of coloured dots or stars or those packs of shape stickers my local toy shop always seems to stock in the kids crafts area.
Pom pom painting one of our favourite easy activities, pop some paint onto a reusable plate and dip a pom pom in it before using it to decorate your butterfly.
While it’s creating whole butterflies rather than decorating a printable I also had to mention this butterfly printing activity from The Craft Train because it’s absolutely gorgeous and a really simple idea too my kind of thing!
Butterfly Activity Sheets
As well as this butterfly template we also have a pack of nine butterfly activity sheets for kids. Make sure you check them out too!
Butterfly Template Terms of Use
