Free Walrus Template
With the weather outside being colder we often find that we tend to do more arts and crafts at home during the winter to stop us getting bored.
This walrus printable is great for helping you to do some winter or arctic themed activities with your child whether you have a toddler at home or school age child and of course it can be used in classrooms and preschools too where it can be a lot easier to print out a few copies of something rather than try to draw it thirty times!
You can get this template at the end of this post by subscribing the free Crafts on Sea newsletter, we won’t spam you and you can unsubscribe at any time – we do send lots of printables like this though which are perfect for keeping your kids entertained.
Walrus Craft Ideas
Coloring – grab crayons, pencils or markers and use this template as a walrus coloring page. Why not use it alongside some of our other winter animal templates to make a display?
Pom pom painting – using materials like pom poms to paint with is a really good way to give a extra bit of texture. Simply dip a pom pom into brown paint before using it to dab onto your walrus’s body to color it. If your child isn’t a fan of getting paint on their fingers or hands then you can use a clothes peg to hold it.
Mosaic – use scissors to cut shapes from magazines, scrap paper and construction paper and glue it onto your walrus. Look for brown paper for the walrus’s body and white for the tusks.
Tissue paper – tear or cut squares of tissue paper and use these to decorate your template.
