Unicorn Valentines Day Craft Instructions
Start by painting a toilet roll pink, or for a quicker alternative see our ideas on adaptions below.
When your paint is dry your next step is to make your unicorn horn, ours is a triangle shape cut out from some glitter card. You can use glue to hold this in place but with curved surfaces like toilet rolls I find that using double sided tape works better as it stops anything slipping off. To attach the heart shapes onto the horn I’ve also used another piece of double sided tape which is stuck at the bottom of the unicorns horn.
You can use scissors to cut out the little heart shapes or stickers would be a great option for younger kids but I’ve used a heart shaped paper punch. If you are making this unicorn craft with younger children then you would either need to punch the hearts out for them (good if you like setting up things in advance) or make sure they do this under supervision.
Finally draw in your unicorns eyes, mouth and cheeks (gotta love cute cheeks on a craft) and your toilet paper roll unicorn is done!

Ways To Adapt This Craft
- If you don’t fancy painting then you could of course just wrap a piece of paper around your toilet roll and then securing it in place with some tape.
- Use coloured or plain card instead of glitter card.
- You could also draw the unicorns ears onto the toilet roll or maybe add a mane.
