Advert. I’m really excited today to share a project I’ve been working on with – called Craft Term! As a mum of two, I know all too well the excitement of having the kids at home over the holidays, but as much as we go out and have fun there’s always that bit of time at home where we need ‘something’ to do – especially during the February half term where it’s not exactly as easy to spend all day outdoors! I love buying our craft supplies online as it means I can get exactly what we actually need (no pester power walking round the shops!) and’s FAST & FREE delivery shipping service means that you can order what you need today and get it quickly delivered to you for free. All of these crafts cost less than £10 each to make, making them perfect if you’ like a chilled out but creative day at home with the kids.

I love this unicorn pencil holder and my kids did too – as soon as they saw this they had to make their own! DIY pencil pots are really easy to make and as you’ll see in the video below you really can make them in minuites, plus this easy craft for kids is really easy to adapt so you can personalise your unicorn pencil holder and make it just the way you want it and all the more magical!

Last night my son and I made unicorn hot chocolate and it was the absolute bomb. It’s not often I write about food or drink but with the kids at school today I kept thinking about how damn good it was and I thought, well, I’ll just make another one for myself because who says kids should get all the cool stuff?! As a January treat this is even better though because it’s a low fat unicorn hot chocolate – yep – all the pretty without any of the guilt, even my super-strict-dieting husband gave one of these a go. They’re also super easy to make which means you and your kids can follow this unicorn hot chocolate recipe together.
