I’d been trying to think of some more easy Valentines Day toilet paper roll crafts that we could make and then I realised that it would be perfect for making a simple unicorn craft. We’ve made a few unicorn crafts for kids recently with this Valentines Day paper plate unicorn and this DIY pencil holder and this unicorn Valentines Day craft is our latest to add to our little group!
So this pretty much combines both mine and my daughters two big obsessions right now – paper plate crafts and unicorns and why not combine them for Valentines Day? It’s all about what you love right?! This unicorn paper plate Valentines craft is super easy to make and looks great – a winner round our house.
I love this unicorn pencil holder and my kids did too – as soon as they saw this they had to make their own! DIY pencil pots are really easy to make and as you’ll see in the video below you really can make them in minuites, plus this easy craft for kids is really easy to adapt so you can personalise your unicorn pencil holder and make it just the way you want it and all the more magical!
Last night my son and I made unicorn hot chocolate and it was the absolute bomb. It’s not often I write about food or drink but with the kids at school today I kept thinking about how damn good it was and I thought, well, I’ll just make another one for myself because who says kids should get all the cool stuff?! As a January treat this is even better though because it’s a low fat unicorn hot chocolate – yep – all the pretty without any of the guilt, even my super-strict-dieting husband gave one of these a go. They’re also super easy to make which means you and your kids can follow this unicorn hot chocolate recipe together.
Of course I needed all these things! Cups with too many plates, vintage maps, pretty ribbons. The Husband is vaguely mortified at the feathers but I have a plan in mind….
I am back in the swing of shopping local and charity shopping, the staff in my local haunts know me and my kids. I’m hoping this is a good thing?!
Didn’t buy the unicorn. Still regretting it. There is a taxidermy shop opened down the road in Leigh on Sea with an actual real zebra in it. I am beyond desperate to go but how does one explain taxidermy to a three year old? View Post
