Sunglasses Template
During the hot days of summer I like to make the most of the weather and get outdoors with my kids whenever possible, however I know that this isn’t possible all day every day and we also need some time to relax indoors either because the weather is actually a bit too hot, because it’s actually a bit grim outside (I live in the UK after all) or because we just need a rest.
These craft templates are perfect for those times that you still want to do something with a summer theme and they’re perfect for encouraging your child’s creativity as you find different ways to decorate them and design your own sunglasses.

Sunglasses Craft Ideas
Coloring
Coloring is a great activity for kids and for grown ups, it’s easy to prepare, doesn’t require any expensive craft materials and it’s something that generally a lot of kids and adults actually enjoy. Winning all round!
To use these designs as sunglasses coloring sheets all you need to do is print out your favorites onto normal white printer paper and then grab your favorite coloring pencils, colored markers or crayons.
It’s also a great way to design your own sunglasses using your favorite colors and adding, stripes, stars or spots to create some super cool shades or just coloring them in plain.
Stickers
I love using stickers for an easy low-prep craft that can help support your child’s fine motor skills too.
To decorate your sunglasses frames with stickers you could go for small colored dots for aa simple pattern or choose stickers with a sea or beach theme or your child’s favorite characters for a big bold design.
Large stickers won’t fit within the lines of the sunglasses outlines but they will look fun!
Q-Tip Painting
Dab q-tips into paint and then use them to dab all round the frames of your sunglasses to give them a dotted pattern.
Foil
Cut or tear aluminium foil into pieces and then glue it onto the main part of your sunglesses to give them a shiny surface.
Add A Reflection
Grab your markers and draw a scene on the main part of the glasses to show where you’r person is looking.
A beach scene would be great for this with yellow sand and blue sky but you could also use it as a prompt for other holiday or travel ideas, maybe you’ll see the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the castle at Disneyland – where would you like to go?
