Looking for a free printable snow globe craft? We’ve got you covered with this fun activity that’s perfect to make this winter!
Snow globe crafts are great to make but not all of us have the materials on hand to make them or perhaps you’d just prefer to practice scissor skills and make some cute winter decor instead of dealing with glitter.
This sweet craft would look fantastic on a classroom bulletin board or displayed at home in pride of place on your fridge or mantle place.

Snow Globe Craft
I love snow globe crafts but if I’m perfectly honest when I’m making stuff with my kids I don’t really want to be using a hot glue gun or worrying about finding glycerine, artificial snow or whatever else is needed.
This printable craft means that you can build your own snow globe and then just play with the real thing at home. Also a lot more of a stress free idea if you’re making this with a group of kids in a classroom or kindergarten!
If you like the idea of this craft but don’t fancy getting the scissors out today or you have young kids at home who aren’t quite ready for this then check out our snow globe template which is perfect for coloring or trying out some easy craft projects.

Snow Globe Craft Supplies
- Build a Snow Globe PDF
- White paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Coloring pencils, crayons or colored markers
Build A Snow Globe
To make your paper snow globe start by printing out the PDF file on to white paper or cardstock. Paper is fine for this craft and is what I’ve used however if you want something a little more sturdy or durable then opt for cardstock.
Using marker pens, coloring pencils or crayons color in all the parts of the craft, obviously you will want to leave the snow and snowman white.

Following the dotted lines, use scissors to cut out all the separate parts of the craft.

Glue the name plate for the snow globe onto the base and then stick these onto the main part of the snow globe.
Don’t forget that you can use a marker pen to add a name onto the name plate, either of the person making the craft or if you’d like to give this as a gift to someone else like a grandparent then add their name instead.

Glue the body of your snowman into the centre of the snow globe and stick on their arms, then glue the snowflakes around them to finish your snow globe craft.
If you would like to adapt this craft then why not swap out the snowman for a photo of your child or you could draw something onto a piece of white paper such as a house or Christmas tree and then cut that out and glue it into place instead.
