What You'll Find on This Page
Santa Craft Template
Christmas is on it’s way which means it’s time to start making those Santa crafts together.
This template has to be one of my all time favorite designs, after all how could you not love Santa?!
Not only is this PDF free, but there are three different designs available so that you can choose the one that’s right for the activity that you want to try.
The first template shows a Santa hat as well as Santa’s eyes, nose and mouth. It’s perfect for adding your own beard too.
The second design has Santa’s beard too, this template is great for coloring or adding some craft materials to if you want to have a bit more of an outline.
The third template is the same as the second one but with rosy cheeks added, I love cute cheeks on kids crafts!
You can print out all three designs or set your printer to just the one that you want.
Plus as this download is sent to you as a PDF you can print off as many copies as you’d like, so it’s great if you’re using this template with a group of kids either at home, at preschool, kindergarten or in a classroom.

Santa Craft Ideas
Coloring
All you need to do is print out your favorite PDF and you’re ready to get started with our easiest (and super popular) activity. These templates make great Santa coloring sheets and all you need to add are your favorite markers, crayons or coloring pencils.
Cotton Wool
Cotton balls are perfect for giving your Santa Claus craft a big fluffy beard and mustache. Simply cover these areas with glue and then stick your cotton balls onto them.
You can glue your cotton balls on whole or unravel them before you stick them down, this may work best when you are creating Santa’s mustache.
Tissue Paper
There are two different ways that you can use tissue paper that would be perfect for making a cute Santa craft using this template.
Firstly, you could glue down tissue paper squares to color in your picture. This would work particularly well for Santa’s hat which you could color in red.
The second way to use it is to scrunch your tissue paper before gluing it down, this would be a good way to create some texture to your craft and would be perfect for Santa’s beard.
Yarn
Glue yarn down for the fur on Santa’s hat or for his beard and mustache. You can use long pieces of yarn or cut them into shorter pieces.
Play Dough Mat
You can use this Santa outline as a playdough mat by printing it out and then placing it inside a plastic wallet or laminating it.
Once your playdough mat is ready you can start decorating your Santa, making moulding your dough to make a fun 3D beard as well as a pom pom and fur for his hat.
