I promised myself I wasn’t going to share any more Christmas crafts this year but this Santa puppet craft is so cute it seemed a shame not to publish it. You might have to excuse the rather brief explanation though as I am supposed to be making breakfast – oops!
Paper Bag Santa Puppet Craft for Kids – Materials
Paper bag
Pens
Red card
White card
Cotton wool
Pom pom
Scissors
Glue
Let’s make it!
Cut the Santa hat shape out of red card and stick it onto your paper bag then glue on cotton wool to the bottom of the hat and a pom pom (or more cotton wool) onto the end of his hat.
Draw Santa’s eyes and cheeks onto your paper bag and then cut out a beard from white card and glue that on too – don’t forget to give your Santa a happy smile.
Ta-da! Your Santa puppet is done and ready to play with! If your kids like these then they might also like the Santa paper puppets that Maggy at Red Ted Art has made? You can never have too many things to play with at this time of year! If you liked this post make sure that you bookmark it or pin it so you don’t forget about it – you’ll find a super Pinterest friendly image at the bottom of this post!

Finally if you have some paper bags left over this paper bag reindeer should make for a fun little puppet show!
