In our family we all adore ice cream and this free ice cream template is the perfect way to turn that interest into some easy crafts and activities for kids.
Ice cream crafts can also be a great excuse to talk about colors with your child; what color is strawberry ice cream? What about chocolate or mint? You could use this as an excuse to look at colour mixing too as you create the perfect color for your ice cream.

Grab the markers, crayons and coloring pencils or reach for the paints for a tried and tested idea. This template makes a great ice cream coloring page too so why not use it like this!
Finger painting
If you don’t mind embracing the mess then keep a wet cloth nearby, pop some colored paints onto a plate and try decorating your ice cream by finger painting for a simple but fun art activity.
Cotton wool
Make a fun 3D craft by covering the main part of your ice cream with glue and then adding cotton wall balls to make a vanilla ice cream. Why not add some colored rice as sprinkles too?
