Fingerprint Mothers Day Cards
I think that homemade Mother’s Day cards are the best kind and they make brilliant keepsakes too, I know that I’ve kept the cards that my kids have made over the years and you could even gift this card with a photo frame so that it could be displayed permanently later.
Fingerprinting is a really popular activity for kids and one that they normally really enjoy no matter if they are preschoolers, toddlers or in school. I know that my nine year old still loves finger painting sometimes so this is definitely a craft that would suit kids of all ages.

How To Make Your Mothers Day Cards
Print your template onto white cardstock. You can use white printer paper for this if that’s what you have available but card stock means that it is less likely to rip and is able to stand up and be displayed better.
Pour some paint onto a plate or tray so that it can be easily accessed and then dip your finger into it.
Pink and red paint is great for this craft but go with whatever color your child likes, I know that I’d be just as happy to receive blue or green fingerprints from my kids.
Carefully place your finger onto the card to create flower shapes. You can do fingerprints in a circle to make flower petals or make two slanted fingerprints at the top of each stem to create a heart shape.
I would highly recommend keeping a cloth or some wipes to hand while creating these cards. While I’m sure you’ll be asking your child to wash their hands properly after painting I also know from experience that stuff happens!
Once the paint is dry on your card you can fold it in half and write a message inside it.
