With a some help from grown ups for younger kids this could be a great greetings card for children of all ages to make, after all who wouldn’t want to receive a cute keepsake like this whether it’s a little bit scribbled by preschoolers or perfectly colored by older kids.
Printable Easter Bunny Card Designs
The PDF file contains three different designs so that you can choose your favorite. All of the designs will also need you to print out the stand for your card which is one the first page of the PDF where you can also find some written instructions.
Design One – This design has your Easter bunny holding a heart that says ‘Happy Easter’ and has ‘To’ and ‘Love from’ written on the back for you to fill out.
Design Two – This card has the Easter bunny holding a heart that says ‘Hoppy Easter’ on the front of the design and on the back there are some lines for you to write a message.
Design Three – The third design for the main body of the card shows the bunny holding a blank heart on the front of the design and has been left blank on the back of the card.
Crafts Materials Needed
For this card I would hugely recommend printing it onto white cardstock if you can. This is because the thicker material means that it is easier to stand up – something that you obviously want with a 3D design!
Using cardstock also means that if you are using markers to color in your card they are less likely to bleed through to the other side of the card.
In addition to this you will also need:
- Markers or coloring pencils
- A pair of scissors
- Glue
- A pen to write your message with
How To Make Your Easter Bunny Card
Step One
Print your template out onto white card making sure that you print both the first page which contains the stand and your choice of Easter bunny.
Step Two
Color in your template. Markers will give the brightest color for this but obviously go with crayons or coloring pencils if that’s what you prefer or what you have at home.
Make sure that you also fill out the section for a message.
Step Three
Glue the front and back parts of your templates together so that the two parts of the bunny are glued together and the two parts of the stand are together. You will need to roughly cut around the edges of the templates before you do this or cut your paper or cardstock in half so you can do this.
Once the glue is dry cut the templates out properly following the dotted lines around the pictures.
If you’d prefer you can cut the two pieces out first and then glue them together, whatever works best for you.
Step Four
Cut along the small dotted straight lines at the base of the Easter bunny card and the top of the stand.
Step Five
You can now slot the two pieces together to make your card 3D. You can either pop your card into an envelope to give to someone or just give it to them by hand.
