3D Printable Easter Craft (FREE Template)

Take a break from your Easter egg hunt to make these printable Easter craft scenes with your kids!

This gorgeous design is free to download and will make a great decoration to brighten up your home.

There are three different scenes to colour and then all you need to do is cut them out and glue them together to make a fun 3D scene that your kids will love.

3D Printable Easter Craft

We love Easter in our house and home is normally decorated with Easter garlands and sometimes even an Easter tree but this can all add up pretty quickly so I like to be able to do something creative with my kids that will be fun and look good but which doesn’t cost a ton of money too.

As with our other printable templates the PDF file for this printable Easter craft is free to download and of course you can print as many copies as you like so it doesn’t matter if you just want to make one Easter scene or you want thirty for your classroom or Sunday school.

The craft supplies you need to make this are also minimal, helping to keep the costs down for you.

This cute design features an Easter basket and eggs, butterflies, a ladybug, daffodils and of course some adorable chicks. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Craft Supplies

• Cardstock
• Coloring supplies – markers, coloring pencils or crayons
• Scissors
• Double sided tape

How To Make Your Easter Scene

While this Easter craft might look tricky to make it’s actually really easy and if you want to make this with younger kids you can have them color while you do the cutting and gluing for them.

First you’ll need to print all three parts of your PDF out. I recommend doing this onto cardstock rather than printer paper because it’s more sturdy but if you only have white paper then go with this, it will still look cute but it might be a bit more wobbly!

Next color in the different pages. Not all of the third sheet will show so don’t worry too much about coloring in the bottom part of this.

You’ll then need to cut the different parts of your scenes out, making sure that you carefully cut around the tabs and cut out the inside section of the Easter basket. Fold your tabs so that they will be easier to stick down.

 

For sticking down the tabs I recommend using double sided tape rather than glue, this is because it will instantly hold the different pieces in place rather than having to wait for glue to dry which means that they could come apart.

The only downside of this is that they really do hold things together so before you stick them together make sure you’re certain that they’re lined up correctly.

The first cover page of the craft template has full instructions for making your 3D scene but as a reminder tab A1 will attach to A2 and B1 to B2 etc.

Once all the tabs have been stuck down your craft is ready to display and I think these will make lovely decorations for Easter too.
