Cut Out Earth Craft
Start by printing the PDF file onto white printer paper. You can choose just to print one side of the Earth and its corresponding continents or you can print both sides.
Color in all the parts for your paper Earth craft including the continents, stars and moon.
You will need to color in the oceans on the page which shows the picture of the planet but you don’t need to color in the continents on this page because you’ll be gluing your pictures onto it.
If you like you can also color in the background of the planet to make it look more like space, a dark blue or black would be great for this.
Using your scissors cut out all the pieces from the first page following the dotted lines on the printable.
Stick your continents onto the planet page following the guidance on there.
Stick your moon and stars around the planet, if you are unsure where to stick any of the items then you’ll find a small mock up of the completed craft in the corner of the first page to help you out.
If you’d rather create your own planet rather than using our template then how about sticking the continents on to a paper plate or using some construction paper, cardstock or cardboard as the background?
