Free Christmas Bauble Template
Christmas is a really busy time of year so it’s good sometimes for kids to be able to just sit down and focus on something for a little while.
I know that my own kids have definitely got a bit overwhelmed and overstimulated by things before in the lead up to the big day.
Our bauble templates have four different designs that you can download and you’ll find all of them in the PDF file.
You can just print the design you want or print all four of them out.
There’s one blank outline for you to use for crafts or designing your own bauble as well as bauble designs with stripes, a snowflake and zig zags.
Bauble Activity and Craft Ideas
Coloring
Raid the craft box and grab the crayons, markers or pens and color in one of our designs, don’t forget to color the ribbon too!
If you are doing this with a group you might like to cut the designs out to display them afterwards.
Design your own pattern
Create your own festive designs on the blank Christmas bauble outline.
How about adding Santa, holly, a stocking or a scene from the nativity story?
Tissue paper
Tear your tissue paper into pieces and glue it onto your bauble.
If you’d like a bit more texture try screwing the paper into balls before you glue it down.
Playdough
You could use these printables to make playdough mats designing your own bauble or tracing one of the more simple designs with pieces of your dough.
Make sure to pop them in a clear plastic pouch or self laminating pouch first if you want to use them again.
Mosaic
Cut out pieces of colored card or paper (scrap paper is great) and then stick them all over your bauble shapes.
You could go for Christmassy colors like red or green or if you are feeling adventurous go for a rainbow effect with red at the top and ending with purple.
Snowman and Reindeer Baubles
Of course baubles are festive in their own right but why not try turning yours into a snowman by adding dots for eyes and and mouth and a orange triangle nose.
You could also color it brown and add a red nose and stick or pipe cleaner antlers to make a reindeer bauble.
