Summer is definitely the time for beach crafts and this easy paper plate beach craft is super simple for kids to make. It’s also one that’s good for allowing a bit of imagination – I’ve added a bucket and spade but what would your kids add? Maybe a picture of them on the beach, a seagull or a kite?

We’ve shared quite a few Supertato activities before and in all honesty I love seeing how popular they are because it’s one of my kids favourite books and it’s one of my favourites too. Of course we all love Supertato himself but I think you have to love the Evil Pea too?! Personally I’m a great believer that some vegetables are frozen for a very good reason and I know that if I was writing about an evil vegetable I’d probably have to go with a pea too!

I think Spring might be one of the nicest times for crafting with kids as there’s lots going on to inspire you both! Spring crafts and farm animal crafts are always really popular so I thought I’d share a simple pig craft for preschoolers and toddlers that you can create.
Of course it’s suitable for older kids too so you can use this as a craft for school age kids but I thought I’d share specifically how you can use this for crafts for toddlers and then you can add on any more complicated bits (such as scissor skills) depending on the age and ability of your child….
