I love it when you can link an activity to sharing a story with your child and as we have so many farm animal crafts I thought it would be good to share some farm books for kids too….
We love farm animal crafts and this paper plate cow craft is so easy to make it’s a great one to try out with your kids. Using paper plates for all the different parts of the cows face means that you won’t need to worry about looking for bits of paper or card to match the main part and the black splodges are fun to make with our printing materials….
I think Spring might be one of the nicest times for crafting with kids as there’s lots going on to inspire you both! Spring crafts and farm animal crafts are always really popular so I thought I’d share a simple pig craft for preschoolers and toddlers that you can create.
Of course it’s suitable for older kids too so you can use this as a craft for school age kids but I thought I’d share specifically how you can use this for crafts for toddlers and then you can add on any more complicated bits (such as scissor skills) depending on the age and ability of your child….
It’s spring which means that it’s the perfect time to go and visit a farm with the kids. We’re lucky in that we live near a few but as these are working farms and not petting ones I always look forward to the chance to go and visit one of the local farm shops where we can go and get a bit closer to the animals too. Farm animals are always a really popular craft subject for kids so I thought it would be fun to put together this little round up of farms animal crafts for preschoolers – hope you love them too!
