I might be a little bit biased but I happen to think that this leprechaun craft for kids is super cute! What’s more it’s really easy to make, and is super cheap for craft supplies making it a St Patricks Day craft that you’ll want to try out this year.
Doily Leprechaun Craft Materials
Doily
Watercolour paints
Card in pink, green, yellow and black
Black felt tip pen
Let’s make it!
Start by painting the frilly bit of your doily orange to make your leprechaun’s beard. I’ve used watercolour paints because not only are they super cheap (these ones are from a poundshop) but they also dry a lot quicker than normal kids paints, perfect if your kids want to get their hands on their craft straight away (and I know mine always do!) Using these paints meant that the beard was dry by the time all the pieces of card had been cut out.
Next up is your leprechaun’s hat. Cut out the hat from green card (making sure it’s big enough to go over your leprechauns head) then cut out the strap from black card and the buckle from yellow, stick these onto your hat and then glue the hat onto your leprechauns head.
Finally for your leprechaun’s face draw eyes, a nose and a mouth on with a black pen and then cut two pink cheeks out of card and glue those on two. Of course you don’t need to have pink little cheeks but seriously? Pink cheeks make everything better!

These are so cute and easy to make as well. I know for certain our kids would love anything to do with paint so we will be doing this for sure.
This is SO cute and I love that you can easily adapt it for other holidays 🙂
