I’m not sure if it’s quite harvest time yet but in the farms near us we’ve seen a lot of hay bales and tractors out in the fields so it certainly feels that way! This harvest basket craft is a really simple way for kids to celebrate this special time of year, it would be great to use for Harvest festival or even just for a fun snack time – my kids certainly enjoyed doing so!
Younger kids can enjoy the colouring, making this a good scarecrow craft for preschoolers while older children can do the cutting themselves and help to make the basket.

I nearly didn’t share this easy fall leaf craft just because, well, it seemed a little too easy? Truth be told it’s been sat in my computer for a couple of weeks now but then I remembered what it’s like on those days when you just need an idea for something to do with the kids – anything that keeps you out of the wet weather outside and means you don’t need to watch any more Paw Patrol and I thought actually? I’ll share it because I’ve totally been there too. So this is a really quick and easy fall craft that you can do together plus it only takes a couple of minutes to set up, phew….
