10 Easy Apple Crafts for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Updated on 11th July 2025 by Kate Williams |

Today I’m sharing some easy apple crafts for toddlers and preschoolers that are perfect for learning about fruits or as simple harvest or fall crafts.

We have an apple tree in our garden and my kids are always fascinated to see the apples grow on it throughout the summer and of course to pick and eat the apples once they’re ripe!

We love sharing crafts for toddlers and you’ll find more ideas perfect for little hands at the end of this post too as well as some simple apple stories for toddlers perfect for sharing together, perhaps with some apples to eat or a slice of apple pie!

Looking for an easy apple tree activity to do with your child? While my son was out I found these cute pom poms left over from Christmas and I knew instantly what we should do with them, use them to make this cute pom pom apple tree craft!

We love sharing crafts for toddlers and at just under two years old this was a great way for my daughter to develop her fine motor skills, and of course it looks pretty cute too!

Apple Crafts for Kids

Updated on 18th February 2025 by Kate Williams | 2 Comments

Can I officially do my Autumn dance yet? I’m no fan of the colder weather but I love the excuse for big cardigans, wrapping up warm and watching the leaves change colour. One of our favourite things to do as a family in autumn is to go to a local fruit farm and pick apples. I like to use this as an excuse to do some crafting with my children afterwards so I thought I’d put together this little round up of some of my favourite apple crafts for kids, I hope you like them too!

Torn Paper Apple Craft

14th August 2015 by Kate Williams | Leave a Comment

So after we went on our trip to the orchard last week we got pretty busy with apple crafts! You might have already seen the apple shaker we made but we also made these paper plate apples. Rather than just get the paints out I thought it might be a good idea to try a torn paper apple craft instead, firstly because tearing paper is really good for fine motor skills, but also because I think it can get a bit boring always doing everything the same way. For me as well as the kids! I really loved the way my son chose to decorate his which I’ll share with you further down!

Paper Cup Apple Shaker

Updated on 2nd December 2020 by Kate Williams | 5 Comments

Somehow it doesn’t seem quite right to be sharing apple crafts yet, it’s still summer after all! Yet this week I went on a day out with my kids to a local orchard run by a charity. They had a great time hunting for bugs, counting butterflies and eating blackberries and windfall apples there. So maybe it is apple season already?! This week I’m sharing some paper cup crafts along with some of my fellow bloggers and after we came home I did two little apple themed crafts with my kids, the first one of these is this simple paper cup apple shaker which would be great fun for getting kids to make some noise at a Harvest Festival (Harvest Festival talk already?! Woah, let’s get on with the craft…!)
