I share loads of free colouring pages for adults here on Crafts on Sea but I thought it might be fun today to share some for the kids too! These free Halloween colouring pages for kids are probably more cute than scary (they are for children after all!) but they’re all fab for keeping your little people busy and best of all they don’t cost a penny! Of course if you’d prefer something for yourself then make sure you check out these free Halloween colouring pages for grown ups!
Autumn and Halloween
Do you ever feel like doing some crafts with the kids but you just can’t face the thought of them covering your house in paint? Me too and that’s exactly why I cam up with this mess free autumn tree craft. I try to be pretty chill about these things but after that time I let my two year old go wild with the black paint and then remembered we’d had a new bathroom fitted that week? Well, I’m a little bit more wary now! This autumn tree craft is perfect for younger kids or when you want to do something a little less messy with your children.
Guys I am super excited to share with you details of my new book 30 Halloween Crafts for Kids which has been published today!
With back to school and preschool looming on the horizon for us I decided to try out this apple themed writing tray with both my kids. It’s surprisingly easy to set up and can be used both for activities for toddlers and school aged children to practice mark making, letter formation and writing words which means that it can easily be used with both of my kids. I’m also sharing how to dye sand should you wish to do that too!
I always find summer a bit of a tricky time for crafting as both me and the kids just want to go out and enjoy the most of the sunshine but with the start of the autumn months we all seem to settle down and start to want to do some more crafting again and what could be more right for this time of the year than a little autumn tree craft? This craft is good on a number of levels – it’s an excuse to make some popcorn (totally winning), your kids get to paint and create with an unusual crafting product and you can talk about colours and the seasons. Oh, and the popcorn, make sure you make too much, yeah?!
