This printable Mother’s Day craft is great because it’s super simple to prepare and it’s easy for kids to make. I also happen to think it’s pretty adorable!

The PDF file for this activity contains three pages for you to choose from.
The first page uses ‘mom’ while the second page uses ‘mum’ so you can choose the right term that your child uses. On the third page you’ll find messages including ‘world’s best’, ‘#1’ and some star shapes to write your own message on so that this craft can be adapted for step-mom’s, grandma’s and anyone else that would deserve an award on Mother’s Day.

- White printer paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Colored markers, coloring pencils or crayons
- Optional – cardstock to make a card
How To Make Your DIY Best Mom Award Craft
Start by printing the PDF file onto white paper or cardstock. Using normal printer paper is absolutely fine and is what I’ve used but if you’re not making this craft into a card then you might want to opt for cardstock instead to make it a little more sturdy.

Color in all the parts of the trophy as well as the message option that you want to use. Using a marker write your name on the plaque section.

Grab your scissors and cut out all of the separate parts using the dotted lines for guidance.

To make your trophy glue the handles to the sides of the main part of the trophy and then glue this onto the base block and the base plate.

Take the plaque and glue it onto the base block and stick your message and star onto the main part of the trophy.

If you would like to turn this into a card just fold a piece of cardstock in half and glue your finished trophy on the front of it. Don’t forget to write a message to mom on the inside!
