What You'll Find on This Page
Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt
I love doing scavenger hunt’s with my kids and it’s something they really enjoy too, it’s such a simple way to get as much fun as possible out of an activity.
These scavenger hunts which can be colored in are much loved in my household, the kids love looking for all of the fun things and I love that I don’t need to worry about getting the order of the clues right or if my kids can follow the instructions and answer each riddle. Find and color is definitely the most stress free, low prep and fun way to do a scavenger hunt for us!
All you need to do is print them out and you’re ready to get started – perfect if you need an activity in a hurry (and if you need more then make sure you check out all of our free Thanksgiving printables.)
Colouring in your scavenger hunt also means that it takes a little bit longer for your kids to complete them, if you’ve planned activities with your kids before you’ll know how it feels when they race through it in two minutes and then ask for something else to do.
Plus I think that if you have a bit more of an active Thanksgiving activity then they might be a little more likely to sit calmly at the Thanksgiving table afterwards.
The PDF is free to download and you can print as many copies as you like, so you can have one printable to share or have one for each person, go with what works best for you.

Do You Need To Find Everything on the Scavenger Hunt List?
Absolutely not! There’s no way that I could know exactly what things you have in your home or what you will find when you’re out so this is purely a list of some of our favorite things about Thanksgiving that you might find.
There are some things on your Thanksgiving scavenger hunt that you’ll find pretty easy to look for like fall leaves and turkeys, but there’s also things on it that will take a little bit more effort and a bit more of a hunt outdoors.
Don’t worry about finding every item, after all no one wants to have their day ruined because they have to keep hunting until they find that elusive squirrel!
You could either give an allotted time to find as many items as you can or just go with a more relaxed activity coloring in items as you see them and seeing who gets the most.
