After we made our newspaper Chinese Lantern last week my daughter was still super keen to keep going so we got busy with this sweet heart craft for kids using newspaper. It’s a great way to keep the kids busy and creative without having to spend out on new craft materials and uses a fun painting technique my daughter loved.

Yesterday I shared with you the simple painting on foil activity that I did with my daughter and today I’m sharing the activity we did straight after, painting with cotton wool. What actually happened was that I only had one activity prepared but this is so quick to set up that it’s a great activity to have in your back pocket in case your kids suddenly ask to so something.
