Around this time last year I shared a post about painting with cotton wool where my daughter painted some heart shapes using cotton wool. Well this painted cotton wool heart craft is kind of the reverse of that one, instead of using the cotton wool to paint with we tried painting the cotton wool!

If you have young kids around then it’s always good to have some fun activities for preschoolers to hand! Having a preschooler around is a lot of fun, it’s a time in kids lives when they’re really inquisitive and love learning about things as well as playing. Sometimes all of us could do with a few new activities to add to our repertoire though so these activities for preschoolers are perfect with crafts, cutting boxes, science experiments and maths activities as well as loads more.

I can’t believe that I’m already writing this round up of activities for three years olds – for the last three years I’ve used my daughters birthday as a way to round up the best activities that we did together over the year and it always seems to come around so quickly. This year we’ve introduced more simple literacy and numeracy activity but there’s still lots of crafts, sensory play and most importantly fun.
