I think this movable penguin paper plate craft might one of my most favourite things I’ve ever shared on here? It’s super cute and it makes a lovely winter craft for kids too. I’ve shared some penguin crafts for kids before – I still kinda love this upcycled penguin lantern, but this craft is great for using as a puppet too – meaning that you get to play with it once the making fun is over.

We love making paper plate crafts, in fact I’m more than happy to admit that this paper plate Santa twirler was my daughters idea!
A couple of weeks ago she saw the snowman paper plate twirler I shared, made one herself and then decided to make a Santa version as she thought that would be even better.
Now I love the snowman version but Santa? Well everyone loves Santa, right?!

We love winter crafts but paper snowflakes can be a bit tricky with younger kids. We are huge fans of paper plate crafts so I figured paper plate snowflakes would be the perfect way to get a pretty round snowflake craft that would also be durable enough for the kids to decorate, making them brilliant crafts for toddlers too.
