Our free templates have been so popular recently and this is certainly the cutest one that we’ve shared so far – a cute and totally free printable snowman Christmas card for you to print, colour and make.
This template is perfect for a bit of crafting with the kids and would be brilliant as a DIY card to give to family and friends, what’s more we’ve even got a couple of different designs so you child can draw their own snowman’s face if they’d prefer or you could even use a photo of your child’s face instead!

This snowman Christmas card was designed by my contributor Gemma and I’m looking forward to bringing you more great crafts from her. The one you can see in the images is one that I’ve printed off and coloured – honestly I had such fun making this.
As soon as my daughter saw it I had to print one off for her to make too, so I know that this is totally kid friendly – her one is being given to Santa!

What Materials Will You Need?
You can print this snowman card onto white paper (a cheaper option if you want to make loads for a class or group of kids) but I would recommend printing it onto white card if you can, this is a 3D card and you want to make sure it will be able to stand up.
You’ll also need glue (I used this glue), scissors and of course markers, colored pencils or crayons. I’ve used Crayola markers as I find them the easiest to wipe off my kids hands.

Free Printable Snowman Christmas Card – What’s Included
There are three different designs for this snowman card depending on if you’d just like a printable Christmas card that’s ready to colour or if you’d like to add your own design to it.
- Printable snowman card for you to colour in – this design is the same as the one in the images on this post
- Printable snowman card with a blank face – your child design the snowman’s features themselves or you could personalise this by adding your child’s photo to make their face the snowmans.
- A blank printable snowman card design which your child can add all their own drawings to. This doesn’t need to be used as a Christmas card but would make a cute snowman winter craft instead or you could use it as a thank you card after Christmas if you liked.
The two Christmas card designs also have a space for your child to write who the card is to and from, as well as a very cute little robin to colour!
The PDF file contains all three different designs as well as the base for the card to make it 3D, just grab the printable below and print off as many copies as you’d like of each of the pages.

How To Make Your Snowman Card
To make this card first print it off onto your card picking the pages that you want to use, you will need a main body and a base for the card.
Colour in all sides of the card and then cut around the outside of the design, don’t forget to write who the card is to and from.
Glue the two sides of the design together and once the glue has dried cut along the dotted lines.
Slot the two pieces of card together to make your snowman card 3D.

Materials
- White Card
Instructions
- Print off the pages you need of the snowman Christmas card
- Colour in the card
- Cut the sections of the card out, making sure you have a main body and base for your card
- Glue the two parts of the snowman's body together and the two parts of the snowman's base together.
- Make a cut in each part of the card as shown by the dotted lines.
- Slot together the two parts of the card to make it 3D.
